Survey Question #1 – Why Are You Taking The TOEFL?

Why Are You Taking The TOEFL?

TOEFL - GiveMeSomeEnglish!!!

I’ve decided for this post, that I will reach out to everyone who is preparing to take The TOEFL Exam, or is thinking about taking it sometime in the near or distant future – to ask one simple question.  Why are you taking The TOEFL iBT Exam?

.  This is the first of what will be many different TOEFL Excellence Survey Questions – which will all be used in order to make The TOEFL Excellence Training Program the best that it can be.  And this first one is to

The reason I want to know this, is because the various text-books and websites say that there are a number of different reasons.  But those reasons are usually based on their own marketing – as a way of subtly telling you why you should take it.

I want to know from the people who actually are taking it (or thinking about it.)  The answers could be many.  I want to hear THE TRUTH from You the REAL People.

  • The TOEFL is required for the University / Program I want to attend
  • I know that the TOEFL is accepted at many Universities around the world and I want to be prepared.
  • I have no choice…  it is my only option to get into a University in a more prosperous country and have a hope for a better life for me and my family.
  • I’m taking the TOEFL because I don’t want to take the IELTS.

Please leave your answers below in the comment section.  Not only are they greatly appreciated, but they will actually be incredibly helpful in order to make The TOEFL Excellence Training Program EXACTLY what it needs to be, in order to suit the needs of The Test-Taker, rather than the perceived ideas of those people who write text-books for a living, rather than coaching the people they are writing the text-books for.

And that’s that!

I look forward to hearing from you all very soon!

…  And I’ll “see” you all again tomorrow

[info]Remember:  If there are any words in this post that you do not know – look them up.  Though you do not need to waste time memorizing random lists of vocabulary words before taking The TOEFL Exam, it is always a good idea to look-up words that you do not know.  The TOEFL Vocabulary Data-Base is Excellent For This.  Even if you think you know them, you may be surprised, so if you see a word that you may “know” but can’t actually define or explain…  look it up.  I suggest[/info]

And if you have any questions, feel free to ask any time.

Have An Excellent Day!
